Butler Volunteer Fire Company has become an associate with Viridian Energy
You may have heard that the Butler Volunteer Fire Company has become an associate with Viridian Energy in a fundraising effort to support our needs to keep our community safe.
New Special Unit Placed in Service
The members of the Butler Volunteer Fire Company placed a new unit in service; Tanker Support 491.
Butler's Station Patch Redesigned
The members of the Butler Volunteer Fire Company had their station patch redesigned.
New Utility Placed in Service
The members of the Butler Volunteer Fire Comany recently
placed a new unit in service; Utility 497. Utility 497 is a 1993 Chevrolet 3/4 ton
Suburban K-2500. The unit is designated Utility Unit 497 and is equipped
with the following: 4-Wheel Drive, 350 Cubic Inch Gasoline Engine and Federal PA-300
Electronic Siren.

The Butler Volunteer Fire Company placed in service a 2003 Jeep Rubicon. The unit is designated Brush Unit 492 and is equipped with the following:
- Honda Davey Pump
- 200 foot booster hose
- 60 gallon tank
- Indian tanks
- Misc handtools
- Surrounding LED lights
The Butler Volunteer Fire Compny placed in service a 2002 Pierce Dash pumper. The unit is designated Engine 494 and is equipped with the following:
- Detroit 60 series 430hp
- Allison world 4060HDP transmission
- 1500gpm Hale Q-max single stage pump
- 1000 gallon poly tank
- 2600 watt Vanner power inverter
- 6 person cab
- Aluminum body construction
